Cancellation & Refund Policy

At O.J Nursery and Pots, we want you to be happy with your order. Since plants are living, perishable products, our policy is designed to be fair to both customers and our small business. Please read this carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Cancellation

• Before dispatch: You can cancel an order free of charge any time before it has been packed/dispatched, by messaging us on WhatsApp with your order number, or via "Retry Payment / Choose COD" → contact us if you started an online payment and wish to cancel instead.
• After dispatch: Once an order has been handed to our courier partner (Shiprocket) or is out for store pickup, it can no longer be cancelled — please refer to the Returns section below instead.
• Landscaping site visits: Can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit, by contacting us on WhatsApp.
• Recurring maintenance plans: Can be paused or cancelled anytime from "My Account" → "My Plans" — no cancellation fee applies.

2. Returns & Replacements

Because plants are living products, we do not accept returns for reasons such as change of mind. However, we will replace or refund an item if:

• The plant/pot arrives damaged, dead, or significantly different from what was ordered;
• You received the wrong item;
• The order is missing items that were paid for.

To request a replacement or refund, contact us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery, with clear photos/video of the issue and your order number. We will review each case and offer a free replacement, store credit (Green Points), or refund, at our discretion, depending on the issue.

3. Refund Method & Timeline

• Online payments (Razorpay/Paytm): refunded to your original payment method. Once we initiate the refund, it typically reflects in 5–10 business days, depending on your bank/payment provider.
• Wallet (Green Points) payments: refunded back to your Wallet balance instantly.
• Cash on Delivery orders: refunded via bank transfer or credited to your Wallet, as you prefer.

4. Payment Deducted but Order Not Confirmed

If money was deducted from your account/card but your order doesn't show as confirmed, please don't place a duplicate order — contact us on WhatsApp with your payment reference/transaction ID. We will verify with our payment gateway partner and either confirm your order or issue a full refund within 5–10 business days.

5. Landscaping & Bulk/Event Order Refunds

For landscaping work already completed, or bulk/event orders already fulfilled, refunds are not applicable — any concerns about quality should be raised with us directly so we can make it right. For advance payments on landscaping projects cancelled before work begins, we will refund the advance minus any costs already incurred (e.g. materials already purchased for your project), which we will disclose transparently before deducting.

6. Non-Refundable Items

Coupon/discount amounts and Wallet top-up bonuses are not separately refundable in cash — if an order paid partly with a coupon or Wallet balance is refunded, the coupon usage is not reinstated, and any Wallet portion used is refunded back to your Wallet.
